The Guardian Childcare Centre in Barangaroo engaged Technology on Tap to design and install a lighting automation system that met several project goals. The primary objectives included Clipsal C-Bus control of lighting areas for granular zone lighting control, a schedule control feature to adjust lighting profiles based on the time of day for intervention-free lighting control, and per-zone override buttons to allow staff to turn off lights in specific zones when required, such as child sleeping areas. Technology on Tap’s custom-designed lighting automation system fulfilled all project goals, providing the childcare centre with an advanced and user-friendly solution that improved lighting control and reduced operating costs. The granular zone lighting control and per-zone override buttons provided more efficient control over the lighting system, while the schedule control feature eliminated the need for manual intervention, providing cost savings.
